Buckets ::

A 'bucket' holds images that are grouped by any criteria you like, as a stepping-stone to deeper organization.

Use the arrow keys to move from image to image in the organizer, and tap the number key (1) to drop the selected images into the bucket. Your bucket will allow you to select the images you want to work with and quickly move them from the Organizer to your canvas.
