Free Minor Updates
Purchasing FotoFusion entitles you to free updates to all new "dot releases" until the next "major" release.
For example: if you purchase version 4.3, then an update to version 4.4 would be free while an upgrade to version 5.0 would be available at a discount. LumaPix provides 90-day 'purchase protection': if a major version version of FotoFusion is released during this interval after your purchase, you will be entitled to upgrade at no charge. Email
Using own ISP
Trial users send mail via the LumaPix mail servers, to ensure smooth trials.
All registered licence holders (Scrapbook Essentials, Enhanced, Extreme) have the option of continuing to use LumaPix servers or sending via their own ISP. Unlimited Email Size
Mails sent via LumaPix servers have a maximum size: 100K for trial users, and 500K for registered users.
Registered users who use their own ISP can send emails without size restrictions. Text
Canvas Based Text
Text can be added to the canvas and resized freely. This is useful for adding labels, signatures, and naming your artwork.
Per-Frame Text
Text can be added to individual frames; moving the image will move the attached text frames. This is useful for creating contact sheets and labeling individual pictures.
Standard EXIF Info
Information embedded in the files from most digital cameras, including the date and time the picture was taken, the model of camera, etc can be inserted into a text body and filled in automatically.
Custom EXIF Info
Custom, user-defined EXIF tags can be specified and pulled from files based on schema you provide. For example, a yearbook publisher can embed student first and last names into two separate custom fields in each image.

Buckets are temporary holding areas for images - you can drop images into buckets with a single key, then drag that bucket into a category, assign a keyword, autocollage only that bucket, and so on.

Exporting to Standard File Formats

FotoFusion can render compositions into flattened image file formats for use in other applications, printing at service providers, and other standard image uses.
PSD and PDF Export
Compositions can be exported in the PSD file format (separating the frame, image, and shadow components into layers). Multi-page PDF export is also available.

The resolution of printed output, measured in Dots Per Inch (DPI), determines the quality of output.
Scrapbook Essentials and Enhanced print at 300 DPI, which produces impressive results for most purposes. Extreme users can set a resolution as high as their printer and computer can support. Segmented Printing
FotoFusion can split layouts into multiple pages with per-segment bleed. Suitable for grand-format output.
Multi-Page Projects
Adding New Pages
All versions of FotoFusion can load projects with multiple pages; Extreme users can create multipage albums by adding new, blank pages to create a custom multipage project.
Batch Exporting
Extreme users can export all pages in an album to separate flat files (e.g. JPEG images) in a single operation.
